{"id":3112,"date":"2025-04-17T17:35:16","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T17:35:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/news\/?p=3112"},"modified":"2025-04-17T17:35:16","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T17:35:16","slug":"exciting-debutants-announced-for-this-years-air-tattoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/news\/aviation-news-uk\/uk-airshow-news\/exciting-debutants-announced-for-this-years-air-tattoo\/","title":{"rendered":"Exciting debutants announced for this year&#8217;s Air Tattoo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/article-images-25\/RIAT-Mirage.jpg\" alt=\"RIAT Hellenic Mirage's\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This week\u2019s update has something for everyone with theme-related aircraft and RIAT debutants!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting with our theme of \u2018Eyes in the Skies\u2019, we are delighted to say we will be joined in July by a pairs display of photo-reconnaissance Spitfires, with a <a href=\"https:\/\/email.rafcte.com\/c\/AQiGjRUQ4LgaGJKF8iAgyaOhBQlMUvPAAQlgEnDY3l71IH5NLx-Er1X5s8V5JBHhV-mp\" target=\"_blank\">Mk.XI<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/email.rafcte.com\/c\/AQiGjRUQ4LgaGJKF8iAgyqOhBQov9vwp2SCFDc4jKACW0GDhb2QNfb6bYL4ejlAQThcs\" target=\"_blank\">Mk.XIX<\/a> flying together to showcase both the Merlin and Griffon engine Spitfires in a distinctive blue colour scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere we have another rare addition to the static display from the Spanish Air &amp; Space Force with their <a href=\"https:\/\/email.rafcte.com\/c\/AQiGjRUQ4LgaGJKF8iAgiKOhBYJrinCb9n4SkcdOHRYboZhETPysVnhHcoWB22wmjAT2\" target=\"_blank\">CASA VIGMA<\/a> aircraft, plus a pair of <a href=\"https:\/\/email.rafcte.com\/c\/AQiGjRUQ4LgaGJKF8iAgy6OhBWEdIBHlEdV2K6s2R0tzfzJuJX2gG-LpJ4muHz0vluUl\" target=\"_blank\">Mirage 2000-5<\/a> aircraft from the Hellenic Air Force this summer will mark the first time these jets have ever participated at the Air Tattoo! Rounding off this week, we have two more civilian aircraft participating in the static display with a pair of ex-RAF <a href=\"https:\/\/email.rafcte.com\/c\/AQiGjRUQ4LgaGJKF8iAgiaOhBQC5JeIRZSATf15LGLx_iTWmEH0v0FJ0NM9dRH8HHIR4\" target=\"_blank\">Bulldog training aircraft<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airtattoo.com\/the-airshow\/aircraft-and-pilots\/confirmed-aircraft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">View Confirmed Aircraft<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last chance!
