{"id":301,"date":"2011-09-17T10:16:57","date_gmt":"2011-09-17T10:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/news\/?p=301"},"modified":"2011-09-17T10:18:09","modified_gmt":"2011-09-17T10:18:09","slug":"reno-air-race-disaster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/news\/us-aviation-news\/airshow-news-us\/reno-air-race-disaster\/","title":{"rendered":"Reno Air Race Disaster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unconfirmed reports say that\u00a0perhaps as many as 12\u00a0people have died and dozens injured after a P51 Mustang crashed into the crowd yesterday at Reno Air Races, Nevada.<\/p>\n<p>54 people were taken to hospital and it is believed that 15 are in critical.<\/p>\n<p>Eyewitness Dr Gerald Lent, of Reno, told the newspaper: &#8220;It&#8217;s just like a massacre. It&#8217;s like a bomb went off.
