{"id":2862,"date":"2024-05-12T15:17:21","date_gmt":"2024-05-12T15:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/news\/?p=2862"},"modified":"2024-05-12T15:17:21","modified_gmt":"2024-05-12T15:17:21","slug":"first-time-at-riat-for-serbia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/news\/aviation-news-uk\/uk-airshow-news\/first-time-at-riat-for-serbia\/","title":{"rendered":"First time at RIAT for Serbia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.airscene.co.uk\/article-images-24\/RIAT-Serbia.jpg\" alt=\"Serbian AF at RIAT\" border=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This week we\u2019re excited to welcome a new nation to the RIAT, with the Serbian Armed Forces becoming our 58th participant as they feature for the very first time.<\/p>\n<p>Their new Airbus C-295MW transport will be lining up on our static display, and we look forward to seeing them at RAF Fairford in July.<\/p>\n<p>We also have a bumper addition from the Royal Air Force, with seven aircraft joining us on the tarmac in Gloucestershire as we celebrate 75-years of NATO.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ll be providing Airbus Juno and Jupiter helicopters from RAF Shawbury, BAE Systems Hawk and Beechcraft Texan from RAF Valley, an Embraer Phenom and Grob Prefect from RAF Cranwell, plus a Grob Tutor.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding off this week is a trio from the Royal Canadian Air Force, which is celebrating its centenary this summer, with a Polaris, Hercules and Globemaster.
