Visitors to the RAF Museum have the opportunity to see the RAF uniform worn by actor Tom Hardy in the film Dunkirk.<\/p>\n

\u201cDunkirk\u201d is the new epic action thriller from filmmaker Christopher Nolan (\u201cInterstellar,\u201d \u201cInception,\u201d \u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d Trilogy) release on 21st July 2017.<\/p>\n

The film opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s ensemble cast includes Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Aneurin Barnard, James D\u2019Arcy and Barry Keoghan, with Kenneth Branagh (\u201cMy Week with Marilyn,\u201d \u201cHamlet,\u201d \u201cHenry V\u201d), Cillian Murphy (\u201cInception,\u201d \u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d Trilogy), Mark Rylance (\u201cBridge of Spies,\u201d \u201cWolf Hall\u201d) and Tom Hardy (\u201cThe Revenant,\u201d \u201cMad Max: Fury Road,\u201d \u201cInception\u201d).<\/p>\n

The uniform as worn by Tom Hardy is on display by the Museum\u2019s Mk I Spitfire.<\/p>\n
