RULES:

1)
Entries may only be sent via email to

no later than midnight on 20th December 2014.
2)
Each entry must be accompanied by the entrants name and address
OR mailing list number plus details of where and when taken.
3)
Each entrant (or household) may submit a single entry only
4)
The Brief:

Local airfield / airports (military bases/aircraft not accepted)
Subject
Matter: Anything!
To
clarify - we are looking for something which makes us think
/ tells a story.... It can be an aircraft, but it might be better
if the ground crew are working on it / refuelling it. It could
be a badger trotting across a runway, or a flock of birds. It
could be friends greeting their loved ones on return from abroad
- anything!
Entrants
may submit ONE entry only and there will be no shortlisting.
Entries will be posted on Airscene on Saturday 19th December
and they will be looked at by the judging panel (detailed in
Rule 9) on Sunday 20th. The winner will be announced on Christmas
Day.
Adjustments
of levels, turning into Black & White and cropping will
be acceptable. HDR will not. Cloning (in or out) and replacement
of backgrounds will not.
Entries
will only be accepted which are taken between 3rd November 2015
and Friday 18th December 2015, as such EXIF data MUST be intact,
so please do not use Save For Web if working in photoshop or
similar programs.
***This
competition is open to anyone (amateurs and professionals alike)
and regardless of location. however:
5)
No entry should be submitted which:
5a)
has been submitted in any other photography competition past
or present
5b)
is available for SALE at any time prior to the final closing
date and in any physical form e.g. print, canvas, mousepad,
t-shirt, mug.....
5c)
Is available for licence on a professional websites such as
Getty (or simillar news / media website)
*note
images available for licence on public photo sharing websites
such as flickr or 500px are OK.
5d)
was taken as part of a commissioned shoot
5e)
has been published in a magazine, book, calendar or similar.
5f)
was taken earlier than 3rd November
2015
6)
Any entries found to breach rule 6) OR found not to be the work
of the entrant (stolen or otherwise) will be disregarded and
the entrant banned from further participation. Airscene will
not tolerate cheating and will treat all information provided
in relation to such breaches very seriously. In cases of copyright
theft Airscene will pass the entrants details upon request to
the other parties legal representative.
You
agree to fully indemnify Airscene in respect of all royalties,
fees and any other monies owing to any person by reason of Your
breaching any of the competition rules.
7)
Prize winners contact details will only be passed on to competition
sponsors for the purpose of delivering prizes. Airscene DOES
NOT share your contact details with 3rd parties in accordance
with the Data Protection Act. Your details will however be added
to the Airscene mailing list in order to provide competition
updates and news.
8)
This competition is open to entrants from the UK
only.
9)
The judging panel will consist of Airscene (Ian), Air-Frames
Imaging (Dave) and Su
Bradley Photography (Su).
10)
NO rights to reproduction by either Airscene or sponsors/judges
are sought, except for the purposes of advertising Airscene
Christmas Competitions. This right will not be exclusive and
copyright shall remain with the entrant.
11)
Family members and relatives of either sponsors or judges are
not permitted to enter. Airscene Reviewers are not permitted
to enter this competition.
