Shuttleworth Collection

Established by its founder, Richard Ormonde Shuttleworth, and now maintained and cared for by the Shuttleworth Trust, the Shuttleworth Collection is a treasure trove of vintage aircraft from 1909-1950, as well as historical agricultural and steam exhibits, veteran cars, classic motorcycles, bicycles, vintage buses and carriages. Unlike a static museum, almost all the Shuttleworth Collection aircraft fly, including Edwardian aircraft, like the 1909 Blériot, which is the world’s oldest aeroplane and aero-engine combination in flying condition.

Air shows have run at Shuttleworth for over 60 years. An unparalleled flightline allows visitors to get as close to the action as you can get in the UK and there are seven shows each season.
